Papa Bear took a heavy hit from the bugs when going through Vidalia, GA.
There is nothing better than going to sleep with the sound of this creek rolling in the distance.
This is a "Must Ride" for visitors to the are. It starts in NC and ends in TN.
This is the picture that everyone takes when driving through the Smoky Mountains. I know its a bit Cheesy but it's a the equivalent to “It’s a Small World” at Disney World.
We did it and spent the money for the T-shirts.

from our recent run through the Great Smoky Mountains.
The ride up was great. We dropped off
I-95 near Jacksonville and started north on US-1. From there it was back-roads
and small towns all the way to the
Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge.
As usual, the Iron Horse was a great place to stay, after
all, it's located in the mountains and away from the city.
Everyday was one awesome ride after
the next. The "Tail of the Dragon - Deals Gap" was a cool way to get the blood
pumping first thing in the morning. The Foothills Parkway took us over to 321
where we rode through the Smoky Mountains from west to east. After a late lunch
in Gatlinburg, TN, it was a slow ride through the Smoky Mountains National Park
into the Cherokee Indian Reservation. We rode the Cherohala Skyway through the
Nantahala and Cherokee National Forests, taking time to stop in Tellico Plains,
TN for dinner.
